I have been a practicing Medium for ten years. Within that time, I have learned more about myself than anyone could have ever taught me. I have embraced a new approach to the way I view life. In the end, I have discovered that it really does not matter how other people view me, or how much they like or dislike who I am, or where I have hailed from. What matters is whether or not I am pleased with myself, and if that pleasure comes directly from how I affect others in this life. Therefore, when I look at how successful I am, I do not open the purse strings. I look at whether people smile when they greet me, and whether or not have I created even the smallest amount of comfort, or eased a small amount of pain.
That is the test in life: In that we give to others, we also give to ourselves. That gift does not define us, but illuminates the true core of what God had in mind when he created humanity.
